Arquivo Imaterial das Minas da Borralha apresenta-nos leituras dos espaços de produção da Mina, através de testemunhos orais dos ex-mineiros recolhidos em trabalho de campo. As dificuldades do espaço são-nos contadas nas palavras de quem o viveu e ocupou.

AFFECTIVITIES
Immaterial Archive of the Borralha Mines presents us with readings of the production spaces of the mine through the spoken testimonies of former miners, collected through fieldwork. The difficulties of the space are described to us by its former inhabitants.

Pedro Miguel Araújo (Porto, 1977). Licenciou-se em Ciências Históricas – Ramo Património pela Universidade Portucalense – Infante D. Henrique, em 2002.
Entre 2003 e 2004 frequenta, na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto, a Pós-graduação em Recursos Patrimoniais. Em 2004 é convidado para desempenhar funções técnicas no Departamento de Artes Plásticas do Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Serralves, onde permanecerá até 2008. Durante este período trabalhou com um importante núcleo de artistas, nacionais e internacionais, destacando Álvaro Siza Vieira, Paula Rêgo, Thomas Hirschhorn, Gregor Scheiner ou Robert Rauschenberg. Em 2009 é convidado para efetuar um estágio profissional no Ecomuseu de Barroso, onde assumirá a coordenação da recolha de Património Imaterial das Minas da Borralha. O projeto decorre, desde 2011, sob a forma de investigação independente. Em 2011/2012, frequenta o 2º ano do Mestrado em Museologia da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto, onde desenvolve o projeto museológico “Vozes que falam: caminhos do PCI nas minas da Borralha”.
Atualmente é produtor de três projetos expositivos inseridos no programa de Guimarães 2012 – Capital Europeia da Cultura.
Pedro Miguel Araújo (Oporto, 1977) graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Historical Sciences, with a specialization in Heritage, from Portucalense University – Infante D. Henrique, in 2002. Between 2003 and 2004, Pedro Araújo was a post-graduate student in Heritage Resources at the Faculty of Arts of Oporto University. In 2004, he was offered a technical position at the Visual Arts Department of the Serralves Contemporary Art Museum, where he stayed until 2008. During this period, he worked with an important group of national and international artists, including Álvaro Siza Vieira, Paula Rêgo, Thomas Hirschhorn, Gregor Scheiner, and Robert Rauschenberg. In 2009, he was offered a professional traineeship at the Barroso Ecomuseum, where he coordinated the collection of Immaterial Heritage of the Borralha Mines. This project has been conducted as an independent research project since 2011. In 2011/2012 he attended the 2nd year of the Master’s Degree in Museology at the Faculty of Arts of Oporto University, where he undertook the museological project “Vozes que falam: caminhos do PCI nas minas da Borralha” (Voices that Speak: the Paths of Immaterial Cultural Heritage in the Borralha Mines”). He is currently the producer of three exhibitions included in Guimarães 2012 – European Capital of Culture.
