Then and … Cut recolhe e recompõe uma fábrica de cutelaria através das sonoridades dos seus espaços de produção. A instalação cria um novo espaço sonoro em que o visitante interage num terceiro lugar, entre o corpo, o som da fábrica de cutelaria e o espaço da fábrica ASA.

PERFORMATIVITIES
In Then and … Cut, a cutlery factory is reconstituted using the collected sounds of its production spaces. The installation creates a new sound space in which the visitor interacts in a third place, between the body, the sound of the cutlery factory and the ASA factory space.

Pedro Tudela (Viseu, 1962). Curso de Pintura da Escola Superior de Belas Artes do Porto, 1987. Professor Auxiliar da Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto. Enquanto aluno foi cofundador do Grupo Missionário: organizou exposições nacionais e internacionais de pintura, arte postal e performance. Participa em festivais de performance desde 1982. Foi autor e apresentador dos programas de rádio escolhe um dedo e atmosfera reduzida na xfm, entre 1995 e 1996. Em 1992, por ocasião da exposição Mute … life, funda o coletivo multimédia Mute Life dept. [MLd]. Enveredou pela produção sonora em 1992, participando em concertos, performances e edições discográficas, em Portugal e no estrangeiro. Cofundador do projeto multidisciplinar e de música digital @c. Membro fundador da media label Crónica. Trabalha em cenografia desde 2003. Expõe individualmente desde 1981. Participa em inúmeras exposições desde o início da década de 80.
Pedro Tudela (Viseu, 1962) Bachelor’s degree in Painting, Fine Arts School, University of Porto, 1987. He is an assistant lecturer at Fine Arts School, University of Porto. As a student, he co-founded the Missionary Group, staging national and international exhibitions of painting, mail art, and performance. Participates in performance festivals since 1982 and was the author and presenter of the radio programmes escolhe um dedo and atmosfera reduzida, which were broadcast on XFM radio (1995-1996). In 1992, on the occasion of the exhibition Mute… Life, he founded the multimedia collective Mute Life dept. [MLd]. He embarked on sound production in 1992, participating in concerts, performances, and audio publishing in Portugal and abroad. A cofounder of the multidisciplinary electronic music project @c and a co-founded and member of the Crónica media label. He has worked as a stage designer since 2003 and has held solo exhibitions since 1981. He has participated in several group exhibitions since the early 1980s.
